Amazing lake in the shape of a heart

In our days it is sometimes quite difficult to distinguish the real from the image processed in Photoshop. However, we would like to present you these ten amazing lakes in the shape of a heart, to remind us of what the holiday atmosphere in the air:

10. Portugal

It’s hard to say, starting with how large a pond can be considered a lake, but we hope you won’t mind if we turn this sweet small pond in the shape of a heart in our list.

Located in the picturesque Alpine area, this small lake can melt any heart.

This Swiss lake known as Lago del Cuore. It is located in a picturesque setting – a former quarry, but despite this fact, it arose by natural causes and not by the will of man.

This lake is situated in the French Alps and is called “Lac Du Montagnon”. Apparently, it is situated quite high, as most of the rest of the lakes from our list.

The peak of Valle di Cembra is located at 2100 meters above sea level, therefore, to visit this place, you have to seriously try.

Yes, this lake exists! Moreover, you can even find it on Google Maps.

4. Coeur de Voh, New Caledonia

This lake also got on Google Maps and, apparently, completely overgrown with trees so that has now become very tiny.

Judging by the trend of Arctic ice melting and freezing depending on the temperature fluctuations, the lake could already cease to exist and turn back to the part of the glacier.

2. Shimshal Lake, Hunza Valley

Lake Shimshal – this is another glacial lake. known to mankind for several thousand years. A trip here can be a real challenge, but it’s definitely worth it.

The Scanno lake – this is a truly amazing and picturesque Italian lake in the shape of a heart. Despite the snow and cold, the romantic mood is guaranteed.
